Performing Arts
Gulliver Schools believes that, through commitment to and experience with the performing arts, all students can acquire a new way to see the world that will enrich and transform their lives. The performing arts curriculum at Gulliver consists of music, dance, drama, and video production courses. Students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of stage productions and ensembles as their skills progress. Advanced students are admitted to some of the most selective and prestigious college programs as a result of their artistic training at Gulliver.
Visual Arts
In order to acquire knowledge of the visual arts as a functional and practical aspect of life, major emphasis is placed on creating a workshop environment with an open flow of ideas and hands-on instruction where questions, answers, research, and independent thought are stressed within the format of well-defined guidelines. Students at Gulliver are offered a wide variety of classes in this area, including drawing, painting, ceramics, computer graphics, art history, architectural design, and engineering design.
