Welcome

Dear Gulliver Families,

On behalf of the Parents' Association, we would like to extend to you a warm welcome to the 2009-2010 school year! For over seven decades, fathers, mothers, grandparents and other supporters of Gulliver Schools’ students have worked through the Parents' Association in fulfilling its core purpose to perpetually support the student body by advancing the mission and values of the school.

All parents of current students are members of the Parents' Association. The association offers every parent opportunities to be involved with school activities and provides a formal link to Gulliver in a fun, social setting. An important function of this organization is to create a forum for the expression and exchange of ideas between parents and the school; to provide educational programs and forums for parents; to assist in the dissemination of information concerning all phases of student life at school; and to organize and promote projects beneficial to the Gulliver community at large.

There are numerous meetings held throughout the school year. We encourage you to attend these meetings, which provide a great opportunity to get involved in your child’s education by collaborating on new ideas that will have an impact on programs and activities at the school and making decisions about our fundraising efforts.
